Job Description

We are looking for an Account Manager & Coffee Specialist, or Sales Specialist as we’d like to call you internally, in our Professional (out of home) business to cover our direct accounts in the Northern Brisbane area (North Brisbane up to the Sunshine Coast). You will work with accounts in the BaReCa, Healthcare, Hotel, gaming and Leisure sector. Brand tools at your disposal include Piazza D'oro, Espresso di Manfredi, Moccona, and L'OR as well as other great brands to help you drive sales. You will join an experienced and supportive QLD sales team who can help you gain valuable experience in the coffee industry. You will spend 3 days a week on the road visiting current customers, 1 day hunting for new customers and 1 day in the office in Murarrie where you’ll get to work on your admin and share experiences with your team members. In this role, you will:  

  • Support our loyal existing customers whilst also hunting to convert and grow new accounts across all coffee segments (think BaReCa, Hotels, Club, Healthcare and more)
  • Drive incremental revenue and profit by identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers
  • Work cohesively with varied stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure transparent communication and accountability 
  • Take ownership of account management, financial analysis and decision making knowing you have the support of a great team behind you
  • Set your call cycle and be routine and process focused with a degree of flexibility

For this role as an Account Manager & Coffee Specialist, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • A passion for coffee with the ability to engage new and existing customers in a highly professional manner 
  • Ideally coffee and b2b sales experience, for example selling to customers such as Cafes, Hotels, Healthcare, Clubs etc. 
  • Comfortable working autonomously, on the road seeing customers, and as a team
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Physically fit enough to carry boxes, help with some equipment installations, and drive across town
  • A full clean driver’s license and AU work rights
